Ideas & research → script → thumbnail → publish-ready

PublishBench is a workspace for researching, scripting and publishing YouTube videos.

Everything between the idea and the upload button.

Research a topic, plan the video, write the hook and the script in your own voice, design the thumbnail and generate publish-ready metadata — without twelve browser tabs and a folder of untitled documents. Every generator runs a named method you can read, not a hidden prompt — and every number underneath it is measured, labelled and traceable.

No card required. Connect a channel only if you want channel-specific features — our YouTube access is read-only, so PublishBench never writes to your channel. You upload.

The workflow

Four moves, one workspace

Each stage hands its output to the next. Nothing needs to be copied between tools.

01

Find the opening

Search a keyword or a niche and see what is actually being published against it — real view counts, upload recency and channel size, straight from the YouTube Data API. Our opportunity score ranks them; the raw numbers stay visible underneath.

02

Turn it into a plan

Promote any result into a video project. Ideas, research notes, deadline, status and everything you generate afterwards stay attached to it, so a video is one object rather than eight scattered documents.

03

Write it in your voice

The script writer builds a structured draft — hook, sections, calls to action — at your target length. Rewrite any paragraph in place, argue with it in the side chat, and keep every version.

04

Ship the whole package

Thumbnail variations at 1280×720, titles, description, chapters, tags, hashtags, a pinned comment and a community post — plus a publishing checklist that tells you what is still missing.

Already included

The parts other tools charge extra for

No add-ons and no higher tier: every plan has every tool, including the free one. Plans differ by volume.

Video teardown

Take apart any video and see how it did against its own channel's median — not a raw view count. Measured statistics and interpretation stay in separate panels, and every teardown ends with what it could not assess.

Hook generator

Openings built from named mechanisms — open loop, contradiction, stakes, demonstration — so you can tell why one works rather than collecting lines that sound good.

More detail →

Originality check

Rewriting an article or a video runs a similarity check against the source: phrase overlap and the longest identical passage, both shown to you. The same job a plagiarism checker does, on by default, at no extra cost.

Sixteen languages

Every generator and the script writer write in any of sixteen languages. A translate tool localises work you already have: a script, or a saved run of titles, description, chapters, tags, hashtags, posts, comments or summaries, opens with the text already in it. Other work — a hook, a teardown, a brief — goes in by pasting it. The translation comes back as text to copy, not written back over the original.

The whole packaging pass

Titles, description, chapters, tags, hashtags, pinned comment, community post and thumbnail concepts. One pass over the video you are publishing — a script, a transcript, or a video on your connected channel. Any public link works too, as a metadata-only reference.

Published methodology

Every score's formula is written down, in public, including what it cannot tell you. If a number is not measurable we say so instead of estimating it.

How we build it

Four commitments we hold ourselves to

These are constraints on the product, not marketing lines. Where a number cannot be known, we say so.

Sourced, not invented

We never print a search volume, an RPM or a revenue figure. Those numbers are not obtainable for YouTube without guessing, and a confident guess is worse than no number. What you get instead: measured API values, clearly derived scores, and a label on every single one.

One object per video

Research, ideas, script versions, transcripts, thumbnails and metadata all hang off the project. Nothing you generate is orphaned in a chat history you will never find again.

Your voice, learned honestly

Build a voice profile from a channel you have connected, or from writing samples you paste in yourself. Study whoever you like — but anything written from a source runs a similarity check against it, with the phrase overlap and the longest identical passage shown to you.

Credits you can see

Every action shows its cost before you run it. Failed jobs refund their credits automatically, and give back any monthly thumbnail or transcript allowance they consumed. The ledger is itemised down to the individual generation.

Start on Starter. Move up when the credits run out.

Every tool is available on every plan — the difference is volume. Creator is $39.00 a month for 1,500 credits, which covers a weekly upload with room to experiment.
